This is one of the best hip hop songs ever recorded. In a society where black men have mostly failed their households by leaving black mothers, unmarried, uninformed about their royal Israelite heritage and tending to children alone, the mother of a child usually gets all the honour and rightfully so. This song shines a light on the fathers that have been there for their families as well and rightfully honours both present parents for a job well done. Have a listen.
